Doing double Layouts.

I have been following a blog that a great friend introduced me to, and the lady does a lot of layouts using three pictures on a page. I gave always struggled with where to put the when there is three pics. Do I put them overlapping each other, on angles ect, this lady -Shimelle made it all seem so simple by putting the pics in a line across the page or down the page. So here are my layouts inspired by her simple method.

All these pics are from a Holiday in Albany in 2011.

Same Photo, different layouts !

Why you say? I am putting 3 albums together 1 for each of the kids
(they will get theirs when they turn 40!!! Ha Ha) and one for our family.
I really loved this pic of the kids and I.
This one is for Calebs album and the last lo I put together of the three.

This is the first one I did for our family album using Kasier "Bonjour" papers.
When I stuck the bird down, I couldnt bring myself to cut off his tail, I guess I will have to to get the page in the album.

This one photographed a bit crooked. In real life it is straight.
I finally used some papers that I had been hanging on to for a long time. Yah!

Back to blogging!!

I am sure my new years resolution will be to update my blog more often!!
Just sharing some older layouts.

Cottesloe was the first time I used gauze on a page.

Happy is a boy with a tree to climb, meant I could finally use that chipboard tree that has been sitting in my stash for a while!!

Portrait of Mum! aka me!! was done in four yr old kindy by Caleb. I love this LO.

You're Amazing, the basic lo with the big circle and banners were scrap lifted from some one some where!

Back on Board!!

Sorry, I have neglected my blog for the past few months, it seemed like every time I thought about photographing my new layouts the sun was hiding!! And the sun has been hiding most of this past week. So I have gone back thru my older layouts that i already have photos of and will start sharing them over the next few days.

Once upon a time, still makes me laugh when i read it.

Baby Mason. I was trying my hand at misting for the first time with this one. He is now 2 and still a very cute little nephew.
Sand Play. Was originally scrapped for a sketch challenge.
Dangerous Work. This one has fond memories attached, when i was doing the lo at a retreat we had lots of laughs coming up with a title.

Retreat Layouts

It was awesome to have some time away to just scrapbook, a small group of lovely ladies and I got away and had loads of laughs and mamaged to get pages done.

Here are a few!

Beach Buddies.
I wanted this one to be bright and full of colour and to look fun.

It's a boys world to explore.
I think that this one is my favourite out of all the layouts I did at the retreat.
I love the pic of Caleb exploring the beach, he would have done that all day every day if we had let him.

Thanks for looking.
